guy fawkes fireworks bloom like rust and mould
and blot out the stars with their rude, incendiary
constellations, nose-tips numb, woolly hats on
crooked. This time I might wear a t-shirt. It's not
quite t-shirt weather but fuck it, you left most of
yours here and I still like to wear them and pretend
your smell hasn't completely washed out. If it rains
I won't care; this time there isn't a rooftop to sit on.
